German Desk

Taking into account the ever-increasing economic activity in the CIS of companies from Germany, Austria and Switzerland, Magisters has established a special sub-division, focusing on the provision of world-class services for clients from these countries.

German Desk is headed in Moscow by Clemens Schlotter, a German lawyer with considerable experience in Russia, and in Kyiv by Ilona Zekely, a top Austrian lawyer with successful legal and management experience in Ukraine. They are coordinating the Firm’s activities with German-speaking clients in the jurisdictions of Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Kazakhstan and other countries. More than 10 German-speaking attorneys at Magisters, some with German law degrees, are participating.

Based on their cultural and legal knowledge, the German Desk enables barrier-free communications and expert discussions on CIS subjects for clients from German-speaking countries. It also expands Magisters' capabilities to enable consulting on international projects connected to Germany through cooperation with some of the best legal counsels from Germany, Switzerland and Austria.
