Key Duties and Responsibilities :
  • criminal procedure administration;
  • liaising with clients, counsels, court staff, experts and witnesses in all criminal matters;
  • prepare criminal matters for hearing, sentence and trial;
  • attend in local courts hearings;
  • interviewing of clients to ascertain instructions; participate in negotiations;
  • draft memoranda in Ukrainian, Russian and English languages;
  • keep systematic records of and store applicable legislative regulatory acts;
  • prepare opinions on criminal matters;
  • advise clients, partners, other associates of the current state of and changes to applicable law, and other legal matters.
Requirements :
  • Ukrainian qualified with superior academic credentials;
  • LL.M degree is a plus;
  • two to three years of relevant experience as an associate in a law firm in criminal practice;
  • native Ukrainian speaker with fluent spoken and written English and Russian.

  • drafting arbitration and alternative dispute resolution provisions for high value commercial agreements;
  • advising on and conducting complex multi-party, multi-jurisdictional disputes;

Key Duties and Responsibilities :
  • performing a role of a trusted advisor to the Firm's Partners in matters of communications and business development;
  • managing all communications (both external and internal) in Kyiv, focusing on media relations (press-releases, comments, articles, interviews) and internal communications (announcements, etc.);
  • ensuring the firm's prominent positions in legal rankings and consistent endorsement with international awards;
  • coordination of events;
  • providing support in terms of coordination of external and internal communications of Minsk and Astana offices;

Requirements :
  • degree from a respectable university, preferably in Marketing/PR;
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in multinational companies;
  • background in the legal business is an advantage;
  • fluent English and Russian (written and oral), native Ukrainian.
